Daikon Pork Soup...![]() Bites Of Asia (Yield: 5 Servings) Ingredients: 1/3 lb Lean pork (thinly sliced) 5 cups Chicken broth 5 oz Daikon (peeled and thinly sliced) 1/2 small Onion (thinly sliced) 1 Green onion (chopped) 2 tsp Fish sauce 1/2 tsp sugar 2 tsps Cooking oil Preparation: 2. In a saucepan, bring 2 tsps cooking oil to hot. Add sliced onion and pork and sauté 30 seconds. Add chicken broth and daikon, cover, and bring to boil. Reduce heat and skim off any foam that floats on the surface. Continue to cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. 3. Stir in the remaining fish sauce and simmer for 1 minute. Add in green onion, turn off heat, transfer to bowl, and serve. |
