(Nuoc Mam)
(Yield: 2 cups)

Ingredients:
1/2 cup Vietnamese fish sauce (Nuoc Mam)
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsps lime juice
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 tsp Asian red chili paste or hot sauce
1/2 each carrot (chopped)

Preparation:
Combine all the above ingredients and stir until sugar dissolves.
