Beef Sauté Tomatoes (Bo Luc Lac)![]() Bites Of Asia (Yield: 3 Servings) Ingredients: 2 Tomatoes (Cut into thin slices) 1 Head green lettuce (Washed Leaf separated) 1/2 tsp Cornstarch 1/4 Cp Water 1/2 Cp milk 1 lb round steak (sliced) 4 garlic cloves (minced) 3 tsp Fish sauce 1 onion (wedged) 1/2 tsp Pepper 2 tbsps Cooking oil Preparation: 2. Meanwhile, place the lettuce leafs on a plate. Place the tomato slices on top of the lettuce and set aside. Dissolve the cornstarch into the water and set aside. 3. In a skillet or frying pan, heat 2 tbsps cooking oil and briefly sauté the onion wedges, and the remaining crushed garlic. 4. Add the beef and sauté for approximately 4-5 minutes. Add the cornstarch mixture and stir lightly. Remove from heat and pour on top of tomato. Add pepper to taste. Serve. |
