(Yield: 3 Servings)

Ingredients:
2 Tomatoes (Cut into thin slices)
1 Head green lettuce (Washed Leaf separated)
1/2 tsp Cornstarch
1/4 Cp Water
1/2 Cp milk
1 lb round steak (sliced)
4 garlic cloves (minced)
3 tsp Fish sauce
1 onion (wedged)
1/2 tsp Pepper
2 tbsps Cooking oil

Preparation:
1. In a bowl, combine the beef, 2 cloves of crushed garlic, pepper,  milk, and fish sauce.  Mix, cover and set aside for 1/2 hour.

2. Meanwhile, place the lettuce leafs on a plate.   Place the tomato slices on top of the lettuce and set aside.  Dissolve the cornstarch into the water and set aside.

3.  In a skillet or frying pan, heat 2 tbsps cooking oil and briefly sauté the onion wedges, and the remaining crushed garlic.

4. Add the beef and sauté for approximately 4-5 minutes. Add the cornstarch mixture and stir lightly. Remove from heat and pour on top of tomato.  Add pepper to taste. Serve.
