Ingredients:
3 1/2 Oz (100g) White radish (Daikon)
4 Shiitake (dried)(regular mushroom is okay)
4 cups Bonito soup (or chicken broth)
2 tsps Sake
2 tsps Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
6 snow peas
----Meatballs----
2/3 lb tofu (firm)
1/3 Green Onion
3 1/2 Oz (100g) Ground pork
1/3 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sake
2 tsp Cornstarch

Preparation:
1. Wrap tofu in a clean cloth and squeeze out all water. Chop green onion into small pieces. In a bowl, combine tofu, green onion, ground pork, salt, sake, cornstarch, and egg white and mix well.

2. Cut white radish into 2 inch length. Soak dried mushroom in water for 30 minutes, drain well, and remove stalk. Cut mushroom into small strips. Remove strings off of snow peas and submerge in boiling water for 30 seconds. Cut snow peas into small thin strips.

3. In a skillet, heat 2 tbsps of oil and stir fry white radish and mushroom.  Add bonito soup, bring to boil, and reduce heat to simmer.

4. Divide tofu into bite size pieces and roll into a ball; then add to soup. Cook for 3-4 minutes and skim out any impurities that float to the top. Then add sake, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and snow peas and bring to boil once. Serve hot.
