Miso Pork

1 lb (500g) Pork sirloin or (4 pieces of pork cutlets)
2 1/2 tsp Salt
3 1/2 tsp Pepper
1/3 lb Cabbage(150g)
1 Oz Carrots (40g)
---Batter----
1/2 cup Flour
1/2 cup bread crumb
1 large egg
-----Sauce-----
2 Oz Miso paste
4 tbsps Sugar
2 tbsps Mirin
1 1/2 tbsp Ketch
1/2 cup chicken broth
Preparation:
1. Cut the fibers of the pork and
season the pork by adding salt and pepper. Then coat the pork with flour. Remove any extra
flour and place in beaten eggs. Add bread crumbs and sesame seed and mix well.
2. Transfer the mix combination to a pot
and heat on medium for 3-5 minutes or until thicken.
3. Cut cabbage & carrots in 2"
length stripes. Deep fry pork at 250 deg. F. or until golden brown. Cut up pork into small
bites size pieces and serve with cabbage and carrot sauce. |
